Luke William Jackson  was born in Fitzroy Melbourne Australia 1973.  

Luke discovered art wanting to capture conflicting emotional energy at an attempt in conceptual artistic transformation at an early age, though now  has just come back to expressing art works on canvas after many years studying philosophy and buddhist meditation.  In his travels around the world mainly in Asia he has gathered the inspiration from his soul to offer Vicart house as an alternative canvas to the high cost gallery scene in Melbourne Australia and further more offer examples of local Australian talent recognized and unrecognized from sectors of society usually not accessing the primary art market scene.Contact with homeless groups, the hospice services, refugee art groups and ,mental health groups are in sight for a canvas web site unlike any other in Australia.

We the group Vic Art House teamed disadvantaged  backgroundtogether early last year to share as Artists the site with other local and interstate artists.  Coming from a social justice background the leader and curator Luke Jackson  Believed in the business and concept of the site to offer the chance to sell works at cheap rates to Artists in Australia, including many unnoticed Artists from minority and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.  Of course its a work in progress.  With many artists previewing soon on the site.

The idea was run by two business consultants and two promotion consultants who agreed the project was viable with the equity investors blessing as well.
